Rules & Protocols
In order to access the lab a procedure needs to be followed, please read it carefully and follow it.
The Rules stated in this section need to be followed at all times and by all users of the SIL-EE lab. Please read this section with extreme attention. Don't hesitate to contact the lab assistants for any questions or doubts you may have.
Each lab-room has a series of rules that have to be applied and followed at all times, these rules can be found in the following section: General Lab Rules. In addition to the general rules, it is important to follow the safety rules to minimize the risks in the lab at all times (for users and for the machines). The Safety Rules can be found in the following section: Safety Rules.
To get access to the room you are also required to fill in the Safery Forms and send it by email to sil-ee@utwente.nl. Please do this before you request access to the room.
Safety Forms
The Safety Forms are necessary and have to be filled in. If you are a researcher you should fill in the Researcher Version, make sure to mention the Research Group you are working for and the equipment you would like to use. In addition, please write a small description of the project you would like to work in the lab. For students (Master or Bachelor) you are required to mention the Module you are working on and get the signature and permission from the supervisor of the Module. Your access will be revoked at the end of the module. For master's students working on their thesis please mention it in the Safety Form and in your email, this way we can extent your access for 6 months. More details about how to fill in the Safety Form and what are the Requirements can be found in the Getting Started. If you have more questions, don't hesitate to email us.
